Weight Loss - 3 Tips To Stay On Track

For many of losing weight has been an on going life long struggle and with all the fad diets and constant changing eating plans that are created by the experts it's no surprise that we yo-yo back and forth from one to another. Often times it's not even the diet we choose, but actually sticking with it that is so difficult. We maybe motivated at first and then something changes and we either cheat, or we stop all together. Finding motivation can be difficult. Here are some tips to stay motivated to lose weight: Weight Loss Motivation Tips 1. Sometimes motivation gets muddled in out minds, or we forget why we started to lose weight, so hanging the "fat pants" as well as the goal "skinny jeans" in plain sight is a great way to keep the memory fresh. Make sure they are in a place where you can see them at least several times a day. 2. Find the worst "fat" picture of yourself that you can find, and hang that in plain sight too. Pictures are great as they really represent the goal that we are working towards and we all know that mirrors lie. 3. Make a list of the reasons for wanting to lose weight and the feelings you have behind it. Then read it at least once daily, and ask yourself when you want to cheat or go off the diet, is it worth it? Using these simple techniques can go a long way toward weight loss success. |
