Verizon Cell Phone Service By Jr Lang It has been two years since I have been a Verizon customer. I chose Verizon because they provided lots of choices for mobile phones service, including long-term contracts and prepaid service. The prepaid service at Verizon is a good deal because you get bulk minutes for a low price and a variety of phones under $50.00. The other great feature with Verizon mobile is that all calls after 7 pm are free, as opposed to other providers that usually start free minutes after 9 pm. And, of course Verizon provides unlimited weekend minutes as well. The one thing I did not like about Verizon wireless is the customer service is second rate. Several times the operator was rude and did not assist me properly. I actually wound up switching to Virgin Mobile and have been happier with their customer service and prepaid plans. All in all Verizon is a good service with few lost calls and strong signals virtually anywhere, even at 5,000 feet. But, they do need to improve their customer service.
