Cell Phone Advances

Cell phones have come a long way. Sometimes, you can watch an old movie and you notice how in real dire times, the characters have no cell phones and you think to yourself, dang if they only had a cell. Anyone remember the days of those big bulky phones and car phones, where the cellular world began? These days cell phones are getting smaller and smaller. So super thin and tiny that they give a whole new meaning to mobile. Then there are smartphones, which are really amazing in that they are really mini computers, with the making and receiving calls as almost an afterthought. Basically with a smartphone you can surf the web and send an email from anywhere in the world even Mount Everest, if you can get a signal. The touch screen feature of smarpthone cell phones is also amazing providing tactile movement and selection of functions with the touch of a fingertip. This feature has made these phones even more popular. Even more amazing is the technology of Bluetooth, which makes holding a cell phone obsolete. The Bluetooth earbuds allow the cell user to perform all phone functions, while the phone sits in their pocket or purse, allowing for completely hands free phone use. Such cell phone accessories make phones that much more functional and useful. The phenomenon of cosmetic accessories, such as cell phone wallpaper, ringtones and downloadable mobile games has accelerated to an all new high. Millions of people download these extras, and are enthralled with personalizing their phones and taking full advantage of their entertainment potential. This makes one wonder what will they think of next? As mobile technology advances and mobile companies compete by trying to be first to provide the latest and greatest you can be sure that we are in for more amazing features and cell phone models. |
