Blu Ray - The Standard for High Definition Video

After a long battle between Toshiba's High Definition DVD and Blu Ray, it looks like Blu Ray is the reining winner and is now the standard for high definition video. Blu Ray is a technology that uses a blue ray record, rewrite and playback movies and video in high definition for the best quality and picture resolution technology to date. Most new release movies are now being produced in the Blu Ray format. But to be clear, Blu Ray has not replaced DVD, it is actually in addition to it, and is just the high-definition format of DVD movies. The picture and video quality of high definition via Blu Ray is something to see. The clarity of the colors and definition of the picture is quite amazing, and for those who love high-definition Blu Ray is a dream come true. Another benefit of Blu Ray is that disks do not degrade like DVD with repeated playbacks and rewrites when burning. There are Blu Ray players for playing movies that can be used on a regular TV, but for the optimal experience a high definition television is recommended. Also, there are Blu Ray burners that allow for the making of home movies with Blu Ray. |
