5 Rapid Weight Loss Diets

Rapid weight loss diets are plentiful. These are usually short term diet plans that promise a a significant amount of quick weight loss. The reason rapid weight loss diets are short term is that they are usually quite drastic in nature and often are limited to certain foods. Many times these diets are a combination of certain foods that when eaten together produce a quick weight loss. Also, it is important to note that the weight loss is usually not fat, but body liquids, such as water. Some of the benefits of rapid weight loss diet plans is that they can really put one in the diet groove and hopefully after the initial weight loss they will continue with a more long term diet plan. There are many rapid weight loss diets and some work better than others. Often choosing one is dependent upon the foods an individual prefers. Some people love bananas so the Banana diet would work well for them, on the other hand Cabbage is the main staple of the Cabbage soup diet and may not be your preference. Whichever rapid diet plan you to choose make sure that you stick to the rules and meal plans religiously and then after the time limit is over look for a more long term healthy eating plan to maintain your new low weight or continue to lose more if needed.
